 We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Instrumentation & Controls Design Engineer specializing in instrumentation and controls to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD design and control panel development (PLC) and will play a critical role in designing and implementing automation solutions that meet the rigorous demands of the building and industrial automation sectors 

Director, Engineering and Operations

• CAD Design: Develop detailed electrical CAD drawings for instrumentation and control systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Control Panel Design: Design and develop control panels (PLC) for building and      industrial automation systems, focusing on functionality, safety, and efficiency.

• Instrumentation & Controls: Create and implement instrumentation and control      strategies that optimize system performance and reliability.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation,      including schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation guides, to support      engineering and installation teams.

• Project Support: Collaborate with project managers and other engineering      disciplines to support the successful execution of automation projects from concept to completion.

• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry      standards, codes, and regulations, including safety and quality requirements.

• Testing & Validation: Assist in the testing and validation of control systems, providing technical support during commissioning and troubleshooting phases.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with advancements in electrical design,      control systems, and automation technologies, and apply this knowledge to      improve design practices and project outcomes.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, software      developers, and field technicians to ensure integrated and cohesive automation solutions.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical      Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in an engineering or technical role, with exposure      to PLC programming, HMI design, electrical design, and software development.

• Basic proficiency in CAD software for electrical design
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming or coding
• Familiarity with control and process systems
• Knowledge of software development and system integration
• Willingness to learn multi-disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
